In the midst of the Good Friday narrative, set between mock trials, beatings, and the crucifixion itself, we find the story of Jesus and Barabbas being offered up to the crowd for release. Despite Barabbas being a criminal–a murderer and rebel–the crowd choose him instead of the one who had healed them and cared for them. It’s an outrage. It’s absurd. And yet, it is one of the greatest testaments to the love of Christ ever told. Come with Pastor Danny Hunt as he unpacks this story and leads us through our traditional Good Friday experiences.

Our traditional Good Friday service includes communion, worship, and placing our names on the cross! The service is open to all, with childcare available for kids 3 and under.

Ladies Retreat

We just wrapped up our sermon series focused on the importance of prayer. Prayer is central to the Christian life: Jesus taught it and demonstrated it Himself, urging us all to call upon God through prayer. Come along as we unpack prayer: what to do, what not to do, the Lord’s prayer, and much more!

Watch our summer series: “You’ve Heard It Said”. We look at commonly heard phrases, both in the church and culture, which are either misquotes of Scripture or misattributed to Scripture. In doing so, we’ll reveal the damage that can occur from believing these false phrases, and uncover what the Bible actually says about the truth or concept God is teaching us.
